SARA WILSON

Her landscapes are luminous: there is no wind, no cloud, no rain. There are flowers, many flowers, sometimes whole arbours of flowers. The colours are limpid and pure. Sara Wilson's poetry lies in this semplicity, this clarity and, in everything, throughout everything, above everything else there is her joie de vivre.

This vivacious painter -English by birth, Versiliese by choice- has ber studio in the centre of Forte dei Marmi. She is diligent at her easel, working assiduously and with professionalism. I first met ber when she held an exhibition in the berceau of Romano Battaglia's caffè letterario in the "Versiliana". There are numerous collectors of her work, many of whom belong to her wide circle of friends.
