Sara Wilson lives and works in Versilia, Italy. She owns an art studio in Forte dei Marmi where she paints and exhibits her work.

Although born in London, she grew up in the green English countryside, attending prestigious schools and excelling in ballet, music and art subjects.

Then, attracted by the southern sun, the warm tones of Tuscany and the endless beaches, she moved to Italy in search of pictorial inspiration. Although her gardens suggest her Anglo-Saxon origins, they glow with light, shade and Mediterranean colours.

Her views invite the observer to discover the mystery of what lies at the end of a pergola, beyond the archway, where a ray of sun filters through - could it be a spiritual message?

She has taken part in numerous personal and group shows in Italy and abroad, winning several major prizes. She has often appeared in newspapers and well known art magazines.
